Nullius in Verba

Just because it refers to a scientific organisation, doesn't make this a science question.

You could argue that it illustrates an aspect of a philosophy of science, but I'm not having it.

It's not even a language question really, as if I'm not mistaken it literally means "nothing in the word" – so "Take nobody's word for it" is a liberal interpretation.

Put it in the General Knowledge section, by all means; but not in the Science round.
